COMPANY History
Source Accounting is founded and operated by Manisha A. Jain, CPA. In 2021, the firm officially rebranded from Manisha A. Jain, CPA to Source Accounting in order to better reflect its mission to serve SMB clients with professional, affordable accounting services.
Manisha is a seasoned professional with the accolades and experience to guide your business on its journey to growth. She began her career at the multi-national, Big Four accounting firm Ernst and Young, in Chicago working in tax compliance. Over the next 10 years Manisha served in regional CPA firms and Fortune 500 corporate roles, until she was laid off during the Great Recession in 2009. Along with many of her peers and colleagues, Manisha pivoted into a new role, but was again laid off in 2011 due to a corporate buyout that would have required relocating to LA. Not inspired to move or continue working in the corporate world, Manisha decided to start her own firm to work directly with small business owners, providing them with high-tier accounting services at affordable prices. Her goal was to make a difference in the life of small business owners, and that passion still fuels her mission at Source Accounting today.
Manisha is an Advanced Certified QuickBooks, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
